Job Brief:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records and reports. This role requires proficiency in accounting principles, software, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Modelling

  • Build, maintain, and refine financial models covering Compassion Aid International portfolio performance, fund-level economics, and Group-level consolidations
  • Develop and own scenario-based models assessing the impact of key variables, deployment timing, repayment rates, FX movements, and salary growth — on portfolio and company financial performance
  • Support financial feasibility assessments for new Business Development initiatives, including IRR, NPV, and FX sensitivity analysis
  • Contribute to impairment calculations and ECL estimation processes across all operating markets

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Track budget vs. actuals across departments and countries — providing structured variance analysis with clear commentary
  • Support financial planning, forecasting, and annual budgeting cycles — including multi-scenario planning
  • Assist in preparing financial inputs, Board, and investor reporting cycles
  • Contribute to the 2027 Strategic Annual Plan with scenario overviews covering deployment timing, tranche mix, and FX impact

Reporting & Data Management

  • Build and maintain integrated financial reports using internal datasets, ensuring complete, timely, and actionable outputs for key stakeholders
  • Review existing reports and enhance structure, clarity, and utility for decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Credit, and Programme teams to integrate data inputs for unified reporting
  • Utilize the Data Warehouse as the primary data source for all financial reporting — ensuring alignment, consistency, and data accuracy

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Assist in automating repetitive financial tasks and improving data flow between systems
  • Document key FP&A processes such as Compassion Aid International calculations, impairment methodology, and reporting workflows
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve reporting quality, internal controls, and process efficiency
  • Contribute to the team's SOP and Runbook library across core FP&A functions

Requirements

Educational Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Accounting, or a related field
  • Professional certification (CFA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage

Technical Skills, Competencies & Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in a financial analysis, FP&A, investment analysis, or financial modelling role
  • Demonstrated ability to independently build complex financial models, including 3-statement models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) from scratch; this is non-negotiable
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets — non-negotiable
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Looker, or Python is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting frameworks, modelling principles, and portfolio analytics
  • Exposure to microfinance, development finance, or impact investing is a plus — but not required
  • Experience working across African markets is preferred

Job Brief,

The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for organizing and managing office administration in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The Human Resource Officer will ensure that administrative processes follow Compassion Aid, USAID rules and regulations, other applicable approved procedures at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure compliance with USAID and Compassion Aid’s regulations and standards.
  • Ensure that administration processes run smoothly to support effective and efficient program implementation.
  • Coordinate with IT support to ensure the functionality of office technology and systems.
  • Provide and ensure that all logistics requirements are available for the smooth running of program activities.
  • Ensure the office environment is well-maintained, clean, and safe for all staff.
  • Responsible for managing and reporting operational usage of vehicle fleet and other facility equipment.
  • Support fleet management process
  • Support planning and coordination of business travels for all country office staff
  • Organize and manage meetings, workshops, and training sessions including any needed travel logistics, accommodations and transportation.
  • Maintain lease and contract management database and ensure that renewals, extensions, termination processes are promptly initiated and completed
  • Ensure that all shipments received are properly recorded and ensure that appropriate department is informed of the arrival of each shipment.
  • Support office management and facility management process
  • HR support: Assist with the on boarding process for new hires, including orientation and training. Facilitate effective communication within the organization, ensuring all staff are informed of relevant policies and updates.
  • Establish systems to gather and address feedback to enhance administrative functions.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in an administrative role.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Job Brief:

The Health and Safety Officer will ensure that Compassion Aid follows health and safety regulations to provide a safe work place to everyone. They aim to prevent injuries, accidents and health problems.. This role requires proficiency in accounting principles, software, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To do risk assessments and audits, checking that machinery and equipment are safe and that management systems and working methods meet current legal standards
  • Explaining regulations in areas such as occupational health; noise, dust and fumes; fire safety and moving and storing dangerous materials, and making sure that everyone follows them
  • Identifying possible dangers and unsafe working methods and suggesting ways to tackle them
  • Working with managers, employees and trade unions to make policies and take action to encourage safe working practices and get rid of possible dangers
  • Consulting the Health and Safety Executive, local authorities and fire authorities, to check that premises meet current legal health and safety standards
  • Running training courses to encourage and promote safe working practices
  • Keeping a record of accidents or complaints, unsafe procedures or equipment and any action taken
  • Testing safety equipment and advising on its use

 Job Overview,

The Community Development Coordinator, under the supervision of the Compassion Aid Programs Manager, The Operations Coordinator supports the efficient execution of operational activities, ensuring coordination between field teams. The Project Coordinator, Special Programs will plan, coordinate and implement Compassion Aid project activities. He/she will work to ensure that all the project activities are implemented per our mission and strategic objectives and as per the European Union guidelines, procedures and principles.

Key Responsibilities  
Program Oversight and Implementation 

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and day-to-day implementation of assigned SRHR, SEL, and cultural programs. 
  • Ensure all activities align with our objectives, standards, and the needs of host communities. 
  • Collaborate with the Programs Manager to refine program strategies, work plans, and targets. 

Team Supervision and Support 

  • Supervise Program Facilitators, providing guidance, tools, and support for effective program delivery. 
  • Convene regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and plan upcoming activities. 
  • Provide day-to-day accompaniment and coaching to facilitators in their engagement with beneficiaries. 

Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting 

  • Track progress of program activities against timelines, indicators, and objectives. 
  • Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess outcomes and community impact. 
  • Prepare and submit timely progress, monitoring, and evaluation reports to the Programs Manager. 

Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, partners, and beneficiary groups. 
  • Represent our organization at community forums, meetings, and events to promote program awareness and participation. 

Capacity Building and Development 

  • Identify training and capacity gaps among facilitators and beneficiaries and organize relevant training sessions or workshops. 
  • Support facilitators to adopt innovative, tech- and learner-centered approaches to enhance program effectiveness. 

Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement 

  • Respond promptly and effectively to challenges arising during program implementation. 
  • Regularly review program methodologies and provide recommendations to improve quality, relevance, and impact. 
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the organization. 

Required Skills and Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Social Work, Project Management, or related field; a relevant certificate with strong experience may be considered. 
  • At least 2 years’ experience in community development or closely related roles. 
  • Proven leadership and team supervision experience. 
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
